Atlanta Falcons VS Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 10-1
The Falcons visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and escaped with a 24-23 win Sunday, knocking off among the hottest teams in football. The Falcons now are 10-1, with seven of the wins coming by seven points or less.
Atlanta won with little help of its running game. Michael Turner scored a goal-line touchdown, but he'd another scary-bad statistical distinctive line of 13 carries for 17 yards. This comes a fortnight after Turner had 15 yards on 13 carries contrary to the New Orleans Saints.
Needless to say, the Falcons aren't really concerning the running game, without Matt Ryan at quarterback and Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez roaming the field. Jones made the largest play in the game, hauling in the deep ball from Ryan and taking it the length for the 80-yard touchdown late in the third quarter.Jones finished six catches for 147 yards as well as the touchdown, showing no indications of the ankle injury that left his status unclear entering Sunday.
